At the end of my daughter’s chemotherapy treatment (once/week for 70 weeks) in 2017, I decided to pursue a 70 week artistic project within Artist Residency in Motherhood as conceived by Lenka Clayton. During this time period, I wrote free verse and set my hands to some free making. I shared some of that experience in what came to be known as “The Renderings of Mama Bare” – and led to my Instagram handle Spinning Jenny Mama Bare. Over time, and after a pandemic (!) the way I shared my art and writing morphed into my current IG studionympheas.
